RIP, Girlie Girl

 I had to put my darling girl to sleep. Maria was a sweet 14 year old cat who suffered during the last few months. I know it was the humane thing to do but it doesn’t make it hurt less.

Today Augusta Brother will be putting his dog, Fendris, to sleep. She’s at least 15/16 years old and has been in declining health for the past year. It’s not an easy decision and, understandably, this step was delayed for a long time. Yesterday, Fendris enjoyed a large, grilled filet mignon and will be sorely missed in the days to come.
