Worst Show on T.V.

Whenever I visit my folks it’s inevitable that we end up watching at least two episodes of, in my humble opinion, the worst t.v. show, Two and a Half Men. At the end of every episode I feel like I lost 30 minutes of my life. The dialogue is inane, every story has a sexual theme or subtheme that’s suppose to be funny and witty but just comes off as lame and immature.

Sorry for the little rant but everytime I see Two and a Half Men, I think of the t.v. show that’s aired a few times throughout the movie RoboCop. You know it’s a different episode but the show recycles the same punchline, “I’d buy that for a dollar!” And the movie’s baddies laugh hysterically everytime. Sheesh…has it come to this already?

  1. Oh, I’m totally with you on this one…though it does (did?) have Melanie Lynskey, on whom I’ve had an enormous crush for some time.

What gets me is that the same “creators” (not sure what that designation means for a TV show. Did they get the idea for it, or just hire people to make it?) of that show also created Big Bang Theory, which is hilarious!

  2. Oh, I’m SO with you on this one — I hate that frickin’ show. Charlie Sheen’s character’s lifestyle and attitude every 15-year-old boy’s wet dream — too bad the writers never grew up.
